Whenever possible, we send documents to customers electronically. If you request hard copies of documents, an administration fee may apply.

Use of Debit or Credit Card:

We accept Visa and MasterCard for payment in AED. Ensure accurate billing information to avoid delays or cancellations. Random checks may be conducted to prevent fraud. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed through the original payment method within 21 days.

Fees:

Mercator Travel & Tourism may charge a non-refundable service fee for the booking and/or modification of travel services through the website. Additionally, you are responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, and assessments related to your use of the products and services available from the site.

Deposits and Payment:

Any deposits made by you are non-refundable. The payment of a deposit reserves a booking but does not guarantee the price. The price can only be guaranteed once full payment is received, subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier. We will inform you of the date by which full payment is required. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to make payment arrangements with the corresponding suppliers. Personal checks may not be accepted as a method of payment. After full payment, the supplier’s conditions may allow for price increases in your arrangements. We will pass on any such increases to you as we become aware of them. Please note that if your travel arrangements include transportation costs, changes in fuel prices, taxes, fees, and exchange rates may result in price changes after full payment has been made.

The displayed price and currency on the website will match the price and currency printed on the transaction Receipt, and the amount charged to your card will be shown in your card currency.

Once payment is made, a confirmation notice will be sent to you via email within 24 hours.

Cardholders should retain copies of transaction records, as well as Mercator Travel & Tourism’s policies and rules.

Cancellations and Changes:

Cancellation policies vary by service and will be communicated at the time of booking. Refunds depend on the supplier’s terms and may be partial or non-refundable. Original documents must be returned to process refunds. Taxes and gratuities are not included in pricing unless specified.

If You Cancel Your Booking:

All cancellations must be made in writing or via email. The cancellation policies will be communicated to you in writing at the time of quotation. Cancellations received on or after the specified date in the cancellation policy will be subject to the cancellation charges outlined in the policy.

If you decide to cancel your arrangements, you must inform Mercator Travel & Tourism at least 24 hours before the service date. The refund amount will depend on the services booked and may be either partial or non-refundable. We require the original voucher/documents from you before considering any applicable refund. If you cancel before the balance due date, any deposits paid are non-refundable.

Refund:

Any partial or full refunds will be processed using the original mode of payment. The refund transfer may take up to 21 days to be completed.

Mercator Travel & Tourism reserves the right to charge financial penalties, fees, and losses incurred as a result of cancellation.

Taxes and Gratuities:

Taxes imposed by city and state governments are included in the pricing unless otherwise specified at the time of quotation.

Gratuities for drivers are not included and are at the discretion of the traveller.
